About me

Growing up in small town New Zealand, I moved to Auckland to study Graphic Design at AUT University. My dream throughout my later years in high school was to work in photography, but while in my first year at AUT I discovered my love for illustration. I continued then graduate in December of 2012 with a Bachelor of Graphic Design majoring in illustration.

After graduating I freelanced and worked various jobs while looking for full-time design work. In early 2013 I found full time work in Graphic Design at a New Zealand clothing label named ilabb. While moving my way up from Graphic Assistant to Graphic Designer to Head Graphic Designer, I worked on my personal illustration with any spare time I had. Doing work for friends, bands and companies with work ranging from commissions, hand painted shirts and skateboards, to artwork for tattoos.

I’m currently self-employed working from a small home office. Drinking to much coffee and probably thinking
about what the surf is doing.

Id like to quickly thank my family and friends who have helped me along the journey so far. From commissioning a piece, buying prints to liking/commenting on social media. I appreciate all the love!
